SHADE-O-MANIAC

While scampering through my photo album of the past couple of years I noticed that I have so many pictures where I’m wearing my shades. I suddenly realized how many sun-glasses I have and guess what I nearly have a dozen of them, but what is more noticeable is the fact- I have this real love for shades, though I never paid attention to it, but now as a matter of fact I realize that I love wearing them a lot, of course the proof is all those pictures below. Even though, I keep on trying different shapes and models suiting my various fashion styles and clothes-line, my personal favorite is the Ray Ban Aviators. Ray Ban Aviators have their own class and superb uniqueness, I just love them. So, I invented a term for myself called- SHADE-O-MANIAC!!

I’m not really a fashion blogger and I haven’t put my own photos on my blog ever since, but thought of experimenting a bit and putting my few “Shady” Pictures(Pictures where I’m wearing my various shades). Though, I admit, I love being fashionable and trying new stuff with my looks and I’m sure you will agree to what I’m saying after seeing all my photos below.

So, after seeing all my pictures, anyone interested in me for a Sun Glasses Modeling assignment? Lol..just kidding. People do share your thoughts about this fashion post.

P.S. I'm a firm believer of fashion, though I don't have any fashion(-able) posts on my blog, but thanks to the millions of Fashion Bloggers around the world for inspiring me to publish my very first fashion post where I have shown my love for the Sun Glasses. Some experiments are worth a try, isn't it?

P.P.S. In this post you will find the narcissism inculcated within me all these years and I do it by showing off my own pictures, but only in the true spirits of Fashion, Photography and Expression :-)

Kya Aap Joru ke Gulaam Hain? (Are you a Servant to your wife?)

Like my routine dinner time, I was surfing through the channels of my Idiot Box (TV) and not so surprisingly it was full of same old crappy bakwaas as it has everyday. I was about to switch it off until I noticed the very own apna desi version of "The Moment of Truth" called "Sach Ka Samna" on one of the channels. The first thought which came to my mind was "DARN ANOTHER COPIED SHOW" from the international television.
Since I have seen the original version of the show I was pretty much familiar with the content of the show and quite shocked to see a show of such a nature being launched in India. I think we all are in a time where things have changed a lot and TV channels are bothered more about TRP’s than anything else and without any doubt reality shows are the latest scoop on television so nothing bad in having our desi version being launched on air.

Ok, that was about the show now about its questions. Wow, trust me the questions on the show are real killers literally they make the contestant to face the real Sach Ka Samna. So, there was this very interesting question being asked to a gentleman – Kya Aap Joru Ke Gulaam Hain? The poor guy responded with a completely embarrassed face almost quietly saying “YES” and it erupted into all so much of an embarrassment for the family members of the gentleman, who came along with him to attend the show.

The way the question was answered annoyed me as it showcased in a way that if a guy helps his wife in her work at home is a Gulaam. Unfortunately, the state of our society is in this shameful situation only, where if a husband is helping his wife in her work at home he is made to believe that he is a “Joru Ka Gulaam”. This is such a taboo of our society where if a woman is working day & night at home she will never be compared to servant but if a man is helping her wife, he picks up the tag of so called Joru Ka Gulaam very soon. I feel our gender biased society is so evil that even the gentleman sitting on the hot seat of the show was made to say that his feeling of love to help his wife in what she does, is nothing but he being a Gulaam to her.

I think men are responsible for their own deeds. The open mindedness of men is facing the hurdles of the evils of past, when men represented themselves as the Swami to their wives and now when they are helping their wives they have to do it secretly to avoid being called as the Joru Ka Gulaam. I feel it’s high time that society abolish this shameful tag of Joru Ka Gulaam and when next time this question is asked on a TV show, men should confidently answer the question by saying NO and making a wife jubilant in joy instead of being embarrassed on national television.

AUSTIN POWER TO WOMEN POWER:A GREAT TRANSITION

I believe today we are in the era where women are very much self dependent and there are very few ladies who stay at home like a perfect house wives of the yester years. However, even if they are staying it’s by choice rather than any compulsion. I can see a complete makeover for women from the sacrificial image of MATA SITA to the self-dependent elegant ladies like SUSHMITA SEN, who is an ex-Miss Universe and a single actress mother of an adopted child. I think the momentum and the balance have shifted so perfectly well in the society that today women are standing tall, neck to neck with everyone else in the competition. Certainly, it gives me immense satisfaction. I know this revolution has not happened overnight or in few days but it took generations and a complete history to narrate how the ladies turned the tides and finally landed to be what they are today – a Self Confident & a Self Independent Soul.

I think time has transformed a lot and has already surpassed the haunting blues of past when a birth of a girl was considered to be a moment of morn. In fact, the girl is considered to be a LAKSHMI and she literally does because the ultra-mod parents of new India nourishes their girls no less than a future Miss India or beauty queen who will bring fame and mullah. The older time when the word Sacrifice and Women were synonymous to each other has taken a complete deep plunge into the past and today women have taken a brand new avatar of the Bold and the Beautiful. The shift is visible when I see the girls on the streets wearing the comfortable looking shorts and top rather than the choking salwar kurtees. It pleasures my eyes to the most when I see a lady with her untidy hair yet stylish walking in the middle of road oozing with confidence. Size zero is in and the women want to be slim.

I think woman has one thing so special which cannot be found anywhere in the world, which is called feminism. I reckon men surely cannot find anything which is so curvy, beautiful, glamorous and exotic on this planet. On the contrary, I see that women have caused a serious identity crisis for the men. It’s hard to digest but it is true. For instance whenever I go to mall for shopping, I see all the shops filled with women stuff. If at all by luck I go to a big branded store with variety in merchandise, it will at the most have jeans, shirts and t-shirts for me but for ladies, they have tops, t-shirts, skirts, shorts, sarees, suits, one-pieces, sleeve-less etc etc. Come on, we live in a same world. This makes me feel like a citizen with limited rights in my own country. Even worst is when I have to go for a party, my wardrobe will most of the times consist of the same old universal dress code of men, which is a shirt and a trouser and for ladies hmmm…I m too jealous of the vast options they have wooooof!!!

I really do see the ecosystem being changed where “What Men Wants” has changed to “What Women Wants”. In fact the all so amused male dominant society is digging the secrets of how women are managing the many roles together of a wife, a home maker, a daughter and a business tycoon.

I see the changing face and empowerment of women clearly visible. There are more TV shows about the women than men. Every girl wants to be a teen diva or a pit girl in a reality show and that doesn’t stop her from flaunting a bikini on air. I feel ladies are ruling the corporate sectors be it taking advantage of their beauty with brains or weakness of men but as they say it everything is fair in love and war. I think it’s the women power, women era, and yet I m sure all men love them and need them in their life. After all there is always a woman behind a successful man.

Malaria Awareness Campaign: An Effort Worth Being A Part

India has gone through an estimated of $550 million economic losses due to Malaria from 1990-93. India has spent nearly 30% of its health budget on Malaria control from 1977-2000 and as an important fact 80% of the Malaria control money is spent on insecticides. Yet in the latest survey, India has nearly 1 million cases detected per year and 1000 deaths a year. So, its very much clear that the mosquitoes are not letting us live and they are still sucking bloods and taking lives ruthlessly.
Undoubtebly, we are still on the losing side after almost a century long struggle against the Malaria. Though, to make it worst Malaria on the other hand has got a support from a new friend called Dengue. We all know what is Malaria. Each one of us know the wicked mosquito lady ANOPHELES but still we are falling prey to her romance called Malaria. It seems even after knowing all the things we are not doing the stuff to prevent the deadly disease. The prevention is very simple and short, which says "KEEP IT CLEAN" thats it. This is enough to beat the draconian ANOPHELES and making them extinct from our lives.
But still we have not been successful in preventing Malaria. The reasons can be any one of the two, either we listen and forget what it takes to prevent Malaria or we are still not aware of it. Whatever may be the reason, Chillibreeze Solutions has decided enough is enough and launched a campaigne to spread awarness about the Malaria for those who dont know what Malaria is and for those who have forgotten how we can prevent it. Its an effort again to realize us that Malaria is still pretty much there. Its an effort to realize us to kill Malaria once for all rather than Malaria taking lives every year.
In this unique campaigne of a kind, Chillibreeze Solutions has launched a very interesting concept to spread Malaria Awareness through a COMIC BOOK. Ideally, the company would like every kid in India to read this book and for that matter every individual across the country. With the same goal in mind, Chillibreeze is looking for people to volunteer all across the country so that those people can distribute the comic books in the local schools for free and launch the campaign in a massive way. The aim is simple to remove Malaria from India forever.
Initially, the comic book launched is in English only but Chillibreeze is also looking to launch it in regional languages soon, for that also the company are looking for volunteers across the country who can translate the comic book to regional languages. As a volunteer you are free to give any ideas or suggestion to make the campaign a massive success and attaining its ultimate goal of eradication of Malaria.
Here is the link to the comic book if you want to see it :- http://www.chillibreeze.com/ebooks/malaria.asp and here is the facebook community link where you can join and discuss your ideas with the fellow volunteers- http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Malaria-comic-book-by-Chillibreeze/213504760356?ref=ts .
For the love of our people, for the love of our community and more for the love of our country, lets be a part to this campaign and remove Malaria out of our lives. Lets do our bit to make our nation a beautiful place minus the mosquitoes. I m already a part of it and You too join me.
Spread the love, spread the word !!

Twin Airlines & Their Foul Plays

After a successful strategic acquisition of Air Deccan by Mr.Vijay Mallaya owned Kingfisher Airlines, Kingfisher has entered head to head with Mr.Naresh Goel owned Jet Airways and Jetlite. Both sharing a common relationship by owning twin airline’s each in both luxury class and other in the low cost carrier category. Overall, seeing from the market prospective both companies now have a better chance of sustaining with the immensely competitive Indian Air-market.
From the passenger’s point of view, it was expected that the mergers of such a kind will better the life of economy class passengers traveling in the low cost carriers in terms of inside flight services and by offering priorities while landing at the airport during the congestion hours to these low cost carriers by being associated with big industry players. Nevertheless, the services have improved to some extent and in a way directly benefited to both the airlines and the passengers.
Yet with these minor small changes visible in the inside flight facilities there is a bigger uncertainty which has paved its way at the cost of huge loss to passengers. It’s been observed that the twin airlines are playing rumble-jumble among its low cost airlines and the luxury airlines by clubbing the customers of both together in one of the flight rather than setting two half capacity filled trips across various sectors. It’s certainly is a very good strategic move in terms of avoiding the huge losses by the airlines but on the other hand its costing customers their precious time.
The way these airlines are handling this clubbing-passenger strategy is surely a foul play and customers are being cheated. They will keep telling the passengers that because of technical fault or snag they cannot fly now and get the flight delayed until they get to know the exact status of their other flight, once they are sure that both the flights can be clubbed into one than they declare a final timing of take off. But this uncertainty causes huge delays to the passengers and cost a lot of waste of times in spite of paying for the luxury class airfares.
Seeing from a business angle the move certainly holds good for airlines but it should not be implemented in the way which gives them the bad mouth because in the long run its going to cost them serious business to other low cost carriers like Indigo and Spicejet.
Probably, to handle a situation like this there has to be a new protocol being introduced. Each airline should rather come up with an idea to project the passengers with the forecast of probability of the flight to take off by projecting the statistics of seats being booked and how much percentage of seats required to be occupied to make a trip. I think by this idea at least airlines will make themselves clear about their strategy about flight trips and most importantly, it wont make customers to feel cheated at any moment of time.
Airlines sector is a huge market it requires alot of new ideas and there can be numerous innovative ideas needed to be tried and tested. Hopefully, we see some serious thinking done from Airlines on this and come up with blossoming ideas helping grow their business in a customer focused manner. In the end business revolves around clients and Customer is the King !!

The Darker Side of Indian's In The Aussie Racial Attack

The whole world is witnessing the racial abuse drama of Aussies taking on Indians students still there have been constant denial from the Australian government regarding its countrymen being involved in the racial abuse. The situation has gone so much out of the hands of Australian government that all their attempts to cope up with such cases are going all waste.

While the media is trying to showcase the exact picture of what is happening and what is not in Australia, there has been alot of fuzz about the incident on the internet. With internet providing the space for non-restricted expressions and emotions, there have been some really interesting informations being circulated around the world and out of which one of the most highlighted sqaushbuckling story is about -- "Why Australians hate Indian??".

One interesting post said- Indian students take advantage of their independence from their parents in Australia and drink alot, as a result of excessive drinking alot of crimes are performed. One other post said- Indians urinate in open spaces and spit anywhere they want. They say- Indians will always talk in the Hindi or some native language even within the class and workplace inspite of other non-indian people being present. One other post said- Indian students will stay in excess within an apartment and as a result they live in a dirty environment. Moreover, Indians will play music in loud volumes in the middle of the night and make huge amount of noise.Another post said- Indians by themselves are suppose to be the most racial people which can be easily justified if somebody visit's India.

Even after reading all the reasons above i dont feel that Aussies should take such a severe step of killing and hurting Indian students in their own country. Yet a human heart should not be provoked to an extent that they start a masaccare of such a mass abuse. Aussies have to be more responsible to mankind and should sustain everything.

Yet whatever have been written in the above posts have intensified the pain in my heart because there was not a single point which i could say is false about us.The reasons which have been shared are somehow hurting me as i see my fellow countrymen doing the same.Aren't we the most racial country in the world? Aren't we fighting among us, be it hindu-muslim or marathi-bihari? Aren't we spoiling our country and making it dirty everyday by urinating in open spaces? Aren't we playing music at loud volumes in the middle of night without caring of anybody else??Aren't we forming groups at our work places and talking in our native languages so that others dont understand??

My eyes goes into tears as i hear the answer from my heart to all these questions as - "YES WE DO IT !!". I know Aussies are wrong in what way they are trying to come over their frustrations but i m even more frustrated to know that we are actually doing all the things what i mentioned above.

I request everybody in India, to raise their standards.Lets start by making a change in thy self. Lets make our country the best place in the world where every Indian is gaining respect by doing something really good for the country rather than because of the money or position. Lets make our India the most beautiful country in the world and the heaven of the planet......

KARMA is taking a step forward…..

All across the globe be it US, be it UK, be it India or be it Australia, there is one thing which is common all around called PEOPLE. But among these people there is a set of extraordinary people whom we call as the SUCCESSFUL ones.

It is a well acclaimed fact that this lot of people whom we call as Successful are the people who are famous, remembered, unique or among the richest of all in the world. This is quite an unsurprising fact that every human being on this earth wants to be part of this elite group of people. In process to achieve it, everybody is doing their bit of things called KARMA. But yet, only a few of them are able to nominate themselves for being the part of this extraordinary league of people and yet very few among them are the winners to enter in the most wanted elite group. Why everybody whosoever is doing KARMA is not successful?

Why is the service class men working everyday is not successful? Why is the farmer yielding the land everyday is not rich? Why a teacher teaching in school is not among the famous people? Well, everybody is doing their KARMA, why they aren’t the successful ones or the richer ones or among the famous people in this world? What is the thing which is stopping them?

Yes, all of us know one thing from our holy books which says “KARM KIYA JA, PHAL KI CHINTA MAT KAR” means as a human being we should keep on doing our karma without thinking of its results. But do we really know the exact meaning of it. Does that mean a labor who is working day and night for his earning, should keep on doing it? Will that make him rich any day? Well the answer to this simple question is only “NO”, this will never going to happen.

We are mistaken in understanding the real meaning of KARMA. KARMA certainly does not mean just doing it but the real meaning is to do it a bit more than what we are currently doing. KARMA is to take a step forward in our lives and to do a thing which will make us a better person what we are today. KARMA is to understand our weaknesses and to work towards improving it for the betterment. KARMA is working out things to make our dreams come true!!!

Once we know the correct KARMA which we need to perform, we need not worry about the results and it only becomes a matter of time when our KARMA pays off. Now this is a situation when the holy lines saying “KARM KIYA JA, PHAL KI CHINTA MAT KAR” should be remembered with the feeling of honesty and grief. Let our KARMA move our life forward in the correct direction of our goal of life.

10 things you need to do in order to sack your boss

The boss has always been the undisputed king at the work arena. The boss orders and the employee have to follow him without any rebel. Unfortunately, all bosses are not good to work with, some of them are like devils, who came into our work lives to make it worse and keep on spoiling it. If the things go even worst, the possibility is the boss can sack us. But how can you surrender yourself completely to your boss? How bad it is to loose all your control and act like a numb to whatever have been ordered?
Seriously, it’s a “curse of life” to work under such dominating barbaric bosses. Why not we turn the tables around and get the boss sacked. Yes, you might be thinking- Are You Serious? But indeed, it’s feasible after all the boss is dependent on the employee to get the things done. So, let’s check out 10 ways to sack the boss out of the job:

FORM A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BIG BOSS: If you can have a better relationship with your boss’s boss than it is very much possible for you to get your boss sacked. You can always take your big boss under confidence and put a bad mouth about your boss, until he is fired.

GET ILL AT THE LAST MOMENT OF AN IMPORTANT DELIVERY: You know there is something very urgent of utmost importance needs to be delivered which has been promised by your boss. Your boss is completely dependent on you for that and the clients are on his head for it. This is probably the best time for you to get him kicked out of the company so what you do next – you get ill in a total bed rest condition at that critical time for your boss. You know all blame will go to your boss and he will get fired.

MAKE YOUR TEAM MEMBERS TO HATE YOUR BOSS: When you hate your boss, make sure you are not the only one who does it. Always discuss the negative points of your boss with the team. If your team members are not convinced, make them convince by some false statements against themselves by the boss. You have to provoke them for going against the boss and complaining to the higher management to remove him.

KEEP THE BOSS IN THE DARK: If your boss is your biggest enemy then keep your boss away from all the useful information about the work. Portray false yet attractive images in front of your boss. At the time of crunch situation bypass your boss to become pilot in the eyes of higher management.

CONSPIRACY: If you have a close female companion in your team, try to bring her close to your boss and then draw a conspiracy by saving the flirt chats between herself and the boss. Later on, by passing the chat transcripts to the HR-department, you are making sure some strict action being taken against your boss.

DIVIDE AND RULE: Sometimes, you need to be a real politician and have to inculcate the divide and rule formula between your boss and rest of the team. By doing this you have actually taken your boss in your complete confidence and more or less boss is in your full control, which in literal terms is nothing but you being the boss rather than the actual boss.

MAKE THE BOSS LOOK DUMB IN MANAGEMENT MEETINGS: It’s important you give all the wrong and incomplete facts and figures to your boss for the management meeting. Later on, when he is explaining the same you keep popping up with questions and proving him wrong with the correct information. By doing that you are scoring a lot of points against your boss and your boss might just get fired.

START YOUR OWN BUSINESS: It’s a pretty bold move to sack your boss, what you need to do is- Start your own business. By doing that you have become your own boss and you just fired your boss from being your boss.

TELL YOUR BOSS’S SPOUSE ABOUT HIS AFFAIR AT WORKPLACE: If your boss is dating a girl from your team and you got to know about it. Than you start trying and collecting all the proofs against him and one good day inform everything to his wife in an anonymous mode. The dearest boss’s wife will not allow him to come to office for sure and in one sense he is fired.

USING YOUR BOSS’S LOGIN AND DOING STUFF AGAINST COMPANY POLICIES: Most of the companies have a strict compliance nowadays. If you are a smart player then this could be a strong point for you to capitalize. Somehow, get your boss’s pc login and password and break the company compliance. He will be caught and fired for it.

BEING REAL: YES IT's ME.....INDIA !!

Gone are those days when India was conserve, calm, silent and hidden. Its that time now where every Indian wants to be as vocal as a peacock in the field and heard by everyone around it. Its visible, the life styles have changed alot, the habits have changed even more and the Indian has now turned in the avatar of a "Global Indian". I have been part of this growing India and certainly the change is visible.
THE MNC CULTURE: The work places has become so western, gone are those days when the dressing and buttering will matter at work places. Its the time where work counts, your leadership skills rules and your communication in sanguine, mesmerises everybody else. All boses are very approachable, your ideas are heard, if not implemented and you have a presence at work. But all only if, you want it because there are always exceptions.
THE YOUTH: The youth of India has become open above caste, creed or religion. They want to have fun with their friends, it does not matter of which religion. There is an equal place for both men and women in young society. The youth is more planned, career oriented and clear about its goal in life and what they really want.
THE CINEMA: There has been a sudden twist in the movies which used to be part of indian cinema.Suddenly, there is a shift from the ALL ROMANTIC TALES to the real and normal life subjects. Movies are having the more real effects with hero's not acting sci-fi or super humans but just normal guy next door. The Maa-Behn words becoming common in all movies and the heroines becoming sexy as the ladies in the audiences are changing much to the competition. Movies are being made more for Youth and Teens as target audiences now. Indian cinema becoming global with Rehman and Resul bringing oscars. The Heat is ON with the buzzword Bollywood. Beyonce,Snoop dog, Timberlake all wants to perform in bollywood.
THE CRICKET: India and its cricketing body has certainly pushed the trigger of whole world towards the biggest market of the cricket i.e. Indian Subcontinent. The unsaid, unannounced monopoly and dominance of BCCI has taken the world with a quite shock but with no rebel as all just want to be part of this mullah party started by Indians called IPL(Indian Premier League). IPL is certainly the cricketing version of Soccer's very own English Premier League. At one end where the money is pouring in at will for the players, on the other side its a win win situation for the great cricket fans of India.
THE PARENTS: Parents have become extraordinary cool today. They have become very open with the idea of children working far from the home or studying away. They are giving full independence to their children in what they want and how they want to pursue. Even the love marriages have picked up alot in number and they are being successfully engaged by the parents consent.Kudos to the next generation parenthood !!
THE LIFESTYLE: Everybody is working on one strategy of EARN MORE SPEND MORE. Earlier, when there were hardly, one or two coffee shops or bars/pubs and restaurant in the cities and now its been flooded with the same. The foreign brands has conquered India like their second homes. The Allen Solly's, The VanHeusen's, The Tommy Hilfiger's all are here in India and selling as never before. The slum has hit everybody but the India is still spending that too big time.
THE FAITH AND DREAM: All the Indian have become confident and had developed a deep faith in themselves in this world arena that today, everybody thinks themselves as competitive as anybody else in the world. Every Engineer or Doctor who is in the making is almost certain of going abroad in their life at least once.Indians are working everywhere and with proven facts and statistics, they are the most skilled and hard working people in offering as professionals. Yes, the Indians have just started being real and what they are and there is huge to come.... STATUTORY WARNING:BEWARE THE INDIANS ARE ON THE MOVE
