My First Rap Song- Rap Crap

If you are following my blog for sometime now, you know that I simply love to experiment. I'm curious, foolish and weird, but hey isn't that my USP?

That's Me - When I'm on a roll !!

So, here is a surprise, this time I tried a Rap Song :-) ...No kidding !! I call my song as- "Rap Crap", by no means I claim that I'm a rapper or something, this is just an experiment that I did and the result is this song. Well, Rap song without the F*** word is difficult to consume, isn't it? So, if you are a child please refrain from listening the song, please! By the way, the song is not recorded at any studio, it was simply edited and crafted right at the comforts of my living room.

So, here is my "Rap Crap" and following are the lyrics of the song-

I was sittin in my chair watching tv with my glares
then came a song ....with a lot of bang!
twisted words, a glitter of a light, a shadow of man walking along the aisle...
a crazy dude, angry with someone, shouting on your face...
And I don't fuckin understand...what is the case!

He is shaking his hands, up and down ..
up and down...up and down...
like a wiper of my car blown down...
And I don't fucking understand...... those sounds he make...
uuuuuhhh uuhhh aaaah aaah uuhhh
uuuuuhhh uuhhh aaaah aaah uuhhh

He's got that cool cap, those black shades and a hooded sweaaaat..
he's walking as if he doesn't give a crap
But that ain't rap, my brotha that's not rap....
And I don't fucking understand.....why he thinks that....

O yes don't get angry coz I don't rap...
I don't rap...this is just a piece of my crap...o yes my crap!
I don't fucking understand...what is a rap!
so don't tell me you like my crap, ha ha ha....

MY MUSIC MANTRA

I'm not amazed by my inclination towards any sort of good music despite the fact I do not understand the exact translation of the lyrics. I don't just judge the music with its video or its lyrics, I feel it and if something really strikes a chord, I just keep on listening to it.

How do you feel? Do you really care about the place or the meaning of the music? Again, "meaning" is a very relative term, but still I've met few people who think music without a meaningful lyrics is a waste of time. Au contraire for me, music is about getting the hang of it, if there is something, be it anything, in the song that appeals me, I'll stick to it.

I'm not a musician or an artist so I do not go into the technicality of it, but I hear it with an open heart. Open Heart? I listen to music not to critic it or not to understand what the musician is trying to convey rather I try to decode the reception in my own ways. If in the process, I'm able to connect to a song, I mostly like it otherwise I don't. One may argue that may be the musician created the music with a different intent and I've completely failed in my reception of that intent, but does it matter? May be a little bit, but I guess not to me. Though, I strongly feel if the intent of musician and my reception of the music is the same then certainly that musician is a very great artist, after all he showcased a great skill of expressing himself exactly in the same manner to his audience as he really wanted to.

Sometimes, I search for music as per my mood. If I want to hear soul music, I may search over the internet and listen to various songs. If I want to hear something motivational, I do the same. I do not just go after the artist whom I've heard about rather I believe in knowing the artist after exploring its music. I sometimes get really confused when somebody asks me about my favorite musician, because of my exploratory nature it not that I like only the music of one of the artists rather I like so many songs from different artists. Also, it is not like if I love a piece of music I'll always love it whenever you play it; there are not many pieces of music that I love whenever they are played. Of course, whatever are there, they are probably the ones I love the most :P

My tryst with music is at my heart. I love it what I love, and it is irrespective of the fact who the artist or the musician is.

So, how do you guys feel about your music? What you like?

I was surfing over the internet when I found this piece of amazing music- the "YEHA NOHA" song by SACRED SPIRIT. This do not understand anything in this song except that I loved the music.
I googled and found the translation of the song- It is a "Native American" translation for this song: Let us eclipse the the sun and the moon with our spiritual and emotional being, and let us transcend these physical barriers and negativity which have made us a nation of one. May the winds of time put into motion this feeling we share with our Mother Earth and this universe till the end of time. May the creator bestow upon us a grand sense of unity and peace which we will continue to pass on to our people, wherever they reside.

Simply Divine !!

DELHI BELLY- EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC

Bollywood is famous not just for making so many movies each year but also for making some really good music. Indian cinema is turning experimental but I think Bollywood Music is still lagging behind. Yes, it has changed from what it was in the older time, but it hasn’t been as experimental as the movies are.

The recent Bollywood movie to experiment with its music is “Delhi Belly”. The music of the movie is so different. I have to say that I haven’t seen such an experimental music for long now. The music is so cool…I’m loving it!! Good job by the music composers of Delhi Belly.

I thought I would give you all the taste of this latest Bollywood music from the movie “Delhi Belly”. I’m sharing couple of the songs that are becoming a rage these days in India.

So, do you like it??

Pi Day 3-14

Hello people, wassup?
Yesterday was a very interesting day from a mathematical point of view because the date was 14th March i.e. 3-14, which is the decimal value of the mathematical constant Pi ( remember 22/7 = 3.14 ) ;)...
In 2009, the United States House of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day. In fact, the Pi Approximation Day is held on 22 July (22/7 data format), since 22/7 is common approximation of Pi.
Find out more about Pi on Wiki/qwiki ....

The late Russian composer Stravinsky had said, "Music is close to mathematics—not perhaps exactly to mathematics itself, but certainly to something like mathematical thinking and relationship." So, the musicians have taken his idea seriously and tried to create the sound of Pi. Yes, no kidding, there is musical depiction of Pi :)

You dont believe it, hear it by yourself -

MY LATEST INTEREST-FLUTE

I have this urge to learn the flute since the last year, but every now and then due to some reason I just had to walk away from it. Recently, on a lazy sunday afternoon when I was feeling like listening to some soothening music I accidently found this beautiful song on the youtube. The song is called the "Flute Song" or "The Irish Celebration Song" and is performed by the band called "The Corrs". One of the main attractive feature of the song is the "Flute". I really liked the melodious sound of the flute. Especially, I was so much impressed by the lady playing the flute in the band, Andrea Corr. As a result, I joined her facebook page too :)

I literally got so much indulged in the song that I listened to it non-stop for couple of hours. I felt so nice about it, but at the same time it also acted like a catalyst to my hidden desire to learn flute. I again started searching over the internet about the place where I can buy a flute. Though, I haven't find any good store yet and still looking for it.

Later, I searched a lot of videos over the internet where I could see more flute songs and incidently, I found a lot of videos related to Irish Flute. I really liked the Irish Flute, its good and it really fills the person's heart with joy. I could easily co-relate to it, but at the sametime when you really want to be in a quite mood then it could be an erratic experience as well. Though, I do not have any knowledge about the flute but I felt that Irish flute doesn't have large variety, most of the songs are pretty similar and have the same tone, but this is just a personal observation and I might be completely wrong as I start discovering the Irish Flute.

Anyway, this is certainly one of my latest found interest and soon I would want to buy a flute and take some lessons over the internet. I sometime wonder, how these things didn't come in front of my eyes earlier, may be by now I would have been an expert in it, but thats fine. I'm happy that I realized my love for flute now. Hopefully, I will soon start learning it.

P.S. Do share your thoughts about the flute and the song (I posted above). Also, I would want to know if you play any musical instrument or you would want to learn playing any musical instrument. One very interesting thing I read over the internet and it says- "Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach". So, its good to be associated with music someway.
