INTELLIVOCAB ( previously POWERVOCAB) VIDEO LIVE ON YOUTUBE

Well guess what? The first Youtube video review for the IntelliVocab ( previously PowerVocab) is live :)...I'm glad that I'll be able to show you now how this cool vocabulary building iPhone app works. All those posts, all those discussions and finally here it is-



One more good news is Faqden Labs, the developers of the smartest vocabulary building iPhone app, has just deployed the version 1.4 of InelliVocab (previously PowerVocab) and the users can update it.

The new features introduced in the latest version of IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab) are-

I really like this IPhone app, IntelliVocab (previously PowerVocab), and I feel its not just useful for GMAT/GRE students but also very useful for all the non-native English speakers for improving their English vocabulary.

BOOK REVIEW- THE BRACELET

I'm not a very big fan of fictions but somehow I got this book called- "The Bracelet" by Ishaan Lalit. The Bracelet certainly is an amusing read, and I'm glad I read this amazing tale of fantasy.

The Bracelet is set in modern day India. It is about people who lead normal lives, but also have a secret double life and they are on a quest to find a mysterious bracelet, which has the supernatural powers. The story moves back and forth between the dream world and the real one. The pace of the book is perfect and the story is well connected. Even though "The Bracelet" is the debut book by Ishaan Lalit, yet the narration is superb. In my opinion, Ishaan Lalit (the author of The Bracelet) has done a commendable job in expressing this fantastic tale of fantasy with sheer creativity.

REDUCING WEIGHT WITHOUT EXERCISE

Hey all, its been a while since I posted a health related article over here. So, I thought why not mention few things that can help you reduce weight without exercise.

Ok, here you go-

1. Swap white bread for brown or whole wheat breads.

2. Make a public declaration on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc about what you eat. This is a great motivation because your friends and followers will keep you pushing for your diet by asking about it :)....tricky haaan :) :)

3. Very Important: Have breakfast and never skip it. Once again "Dont Skip Breakfast"!!

4. Stay Hydrated; Many a times we make a mistake of feeling thirsty as being hungry. Keep sipping in water throughout the day time. Minimum 2 litres of water is essential for an average sized body.

5. Cut out the Sugar in your Tea and Coffee. Just five cups of Tea or Coffee can add upto 500 calories, awwwww.....!!

6. Eat fruit, dont drink it. All the juices have caloried and its better to stick with natural sources like fresh fruits.

7. Eat eggs in the breakfast. A study shows that eggs trigger a hormone that helps suppress hunger and you will end up eating less for the rest of the day.

8. Eat more short meals. Eat five meals rather than three larger meals a day. You should not go too long without food.
